Gerald "Jay" B. DeJaynes,70, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. He is survived by his wife Doreen DeJaynes of Fayetteville, NC; 1 son, Andrew P. DeJaynes of Fayetteville, NC; 4 daughters: Shelly DeJaynes of Columbia, MO, Mandy March of Centralia, MO, Faith Belcher of Holly Springs, NC, Leona DeJaynes of Fayetteville, NC; 1 brother, Donny DeJaynes of Gladstone, IL; grandchildren: Amber, James, Gabriel, Grant, Nicholas, Landon, and Chase.

            Rev. John Frazier will officiate a Celebration of Life Service at St. Paul's In The Pines Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 5:00 pm. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm prior to services. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Paul's In The Pines Episcopal Church.
