I just heard of Helen's passing. All I can think of is how kind, sweet, funny, and so appreciative of the small things in life she always was. She never wasted time on feeling sorry for herself but always looked for the positive in life. I'm so happy that she and Ray found each other so she could find that true happiness in marriage. I send my love and condolences to the whole family, but especially Dana and Ray since I knew you more. She truly loved her family and her animals. A gracious, wonderful lady who I will miss but be forever grateful for knowing her.

Hello Lashley Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 :28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.
With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor : P.D.Walker.

Death only brings sorrow and pain to those who are left behind. Those ones need the support and encouragement to deal with this difficult time now and in the future. One thing that can lessen the pain of losing your loved one is knowing of the wonderful hope for those who are asleep in death. The Bible writer Isaiah described it beautifully at Isaiah 26:19.There we read that our dead ones will live again and that those powerless in death will come to life. Yes, he was writing about the resurrection of those asleep in death. So may this wonderful hope of seeing your precious beloved one again help you through this time of sorrow.

To the families and loved ones of Mrs. Lashley, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure. During this difficult times and in the months to follow. My deepest condolences to all of your loved ones.

There are no words to express how the loss of Helen has and always will leave an emptiness in my heart and life. I was very lucky and blessed to have this one of a kind wonderful lady as my friend for 45 years. I will always miss her laughter, her kindness, love, and just knowing she was there for me.

I am so sorry to hear about Helen. We worked together for a few years at United Management and became friends. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Praying for the family.
