James E. Blankenship, 75, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Emma Lou Blankenship of Fayetteville, NC.; two sons: Jonah Blankenship and his wife Sandra of Grays Creek, NC., Paul Blankenship and his wife Angela of Fayetteville, NC.; one daughter: Michelle Blankenship of Fayetteville, NC.; two brothers: Merrell Blankenship, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC., Joe Blankenship of Logan, OH; four grandchildren: Christian, Owen, Athenia and Elyssa; three great-grandchildren: Aiden, Summer and Tianna.
A small family and friend service will be held in memory of the life of James Earl Blankenship, from 10:30 -11:30 on the morning of Saturday, August 19th at Gray's Creek Station 18 Fire Dept. The address is 7010 Fire Department Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348. If you can or cannot make it, we totally understand either way and Thank you greatly for being a part of our Father's life.
