James Benjamin "Ben" Greene

James Benjamin "Ben" Greene, 77, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, Friday 26, 2018 at his home.

Ben is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy; a daughter, Lynn Greene; sister in law, Diane Price and husband, Ralph of Raleigh; two nieces, Jennifer Logan and her daughter, Payton of Fayetteville and Kathy Pike and husband, Clifton and their sons, Jay and Will all of New Bern.

Ben graduated from Seventy First High School and was a Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He retired after more than 30 years in civil engineering at Pope Air Force Base. Ben was a Mason and a Shriner of the Sudan Temple. He was a member of the Sudan Motor Escort.

 A visitation will be held from 1 pm to 1:45 pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Camp Ground United Methodist Church. A graveside service will follow at 2 pm in the church cemetery.
