Lavonne W. Taylor, 62, gained her wings October 31st, 2019 in her home surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mr. Ronnie L. Taylor.
She was born July1, 1957 in Alexandria, LA to Dilcy Mae Johnson. She served for many years as kitchen personnel within the dining facilities on Fort Bragg and won several awards for her service to the United State Army. She was a member of Sandhills Worship Center in Spring Lake, NC. She enjoyed crafting, listening to music, and watching movies but what she enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family. She will always be remembered for her smile and on time words of wisdom.
Along with her husband she is also survived by her daughters Tamika Clark and Shuntrickia Taylor; grandchildren, Dyneshiia Shaw, Ekeira Shaw, Emeeyon Shaw and Nariyanna Scates; sisters and brother, Sandra Williams, Rodney Williams, and Shari Williams.
The home going service will he held on Saturday November 16, 2019 at 1 pm at Reclamation Church, 62 Joint Road, Spring Lake NC 28390. There will be a repast immediately following at 120 Dysart Place, Apartment B, Fayetteville, NC 28314. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered on the day of services. Flowers may also be delivered to the home 7261 Pebblebrook Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
