Ora Tompkins Obituary

Ora Vaughan Tompkins, 79, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Ora was born on November 18, 1938 and was a son of the late Ora V. Tompkins.

Ora is survived by his two sons: Vaughan (Maria) Tompkins of Aberdeen, NC and Stephen Tompkins of Fayetteville, NC; his daughters: Carolie (Rick) Atherton and Renita Shelton both of Fayetteville, NC; his three sisters; Carol Tompkins of New Brunswick, Canada; Juanita (Buddy) Hall of Phoenix, AR; and Rennie Wooster of Highland, MI; and eight grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00PM at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
