Patricia Elise Esparza

Mrs. Patricia Elise Davis Esparza, 76, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

She was born September 22, 1941 to Robert Lee and Evelyn G. Lynn Davis of Atlanta. She was the 6th of 8 children. a devoted wife and mother, she had a passion for pleasing others.

She was a talented seamstress and truly enjoyed sharing her love of sewing. She enjoyed "crafts", winning many awards in the 1970's for her pottery. She loved dancing, music, yard sales, fried chicken, chocolate and Mexican libations. She had a long marriage to Luis Juan Esparza and was a true devout military wife. She lived for several years in Central America, and enjoyed traveling to many countries. She was truly loved by many all over the world.

Survivors include daughters, Valerie Angelisa Esparza Helms and husband, Kenneth Gerald Helms of Titusville, Fla. and Stephenie Evelyn Esparza Dooley and husband, Ernie Dooley of Fayetteville; one son, Luis John Esparza and wife, Diannedyna Santeanez Esparza of Fayetteville; sister, Laura Anita Davis Paden of Locust Grove, Ga.; a brother, Stephen Aneil Davis of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Brooke Elise Sullivan Reams, Luis John Esparza, III, Stephen Andrew Esparza, Kenneth Godwin Helms, Hannah Minette Santeanez and Ma. Christina DeGuzman; and great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn and Trinity Sue.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Davis Crowley and Winona Davis Horne; and brothers, Bill Davis, Robert Davis and Gerald Davis.

Visitation will be at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 5 pm with a memorial service to follow in the chapel at 6 pm.
