Tammy Joy Davis of Fayetteville passed away on November 27, 2019. She was born June 19, 1963 to Ralph Roell and Dianne Gottschalk in Orange, California. After graduating high school, Tammy joined the United States Army where she served as a Material Storage & Handling Specialist  from March 22, 1983 - August 12, 1987. She was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY and Giebelstadt Army Airfield in Germany and earned the Army Service Ribbon Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Metal and Marksman Badge M16 Rifle Bar.

She is survived by her loving son Kevin Davis and his wife Catherine of Fayetteville; three brothers, Bill Stone, Rod Roell and Kirk Roell all of Michigan and one sister, Dawn Roell of North Carolina; She also leaves behind two aunts, three uncles, nine nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Kevin Myles Davis.

Tammy loved to read, do crossword puzzles, listen to rock music especially Bob Segar, country music and dancing. She loved NASCAR,  Rusty Wallace was her favorite driver and she even got to meet him in person while she was pregnant with Kevin. Tammy loved her son Kevin and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for him or he wouldn't do for her. They loved fishing, going to the beach and to races as a family. There was no greater love in her life than Kevin Myles Davis but unfortunately things worked out different for them although she never stopped loving him.

Tammy had a passion for learning and school, so much so that there were several nights while we were going up to bed, if we made a little too much noise, she would jump out of the bed, get dressed, fly down the steps past all of us, running out the front door yelling she was late for school. Rod always had to go get her. Tammy was always in a hurry, from the time was was brought into the world until the end of her life, she was a spitfire,  always in full speed. As a small girl, she loved having her hair in her 'palm tree' ponytail and kept her hair in her favorite 80's style until she passed. Tammy was great with numbers, doing taxes and book keeping and she had an amazing talent cutting and coloring hair.

Tammy was a precious girl and a beautiful woman. We love and miss you terribly Tammy. Rest in the arms of the Lord.

A private ceremony will be held in January 10, 2020 with a celebration of life gathering in the future.
