Ashleigh Katherine Williams, of Fayetteville, 34, peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday, August 24, 2025.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Marianna; sister, Lauren Hines and husband Charlie; brother, Matthew; and her niece and nephew.
Ashleigh had a lifelong devotion to animals. She worked as a veterinary technician for the past several years. A true geek at heart, Ashleigh loved video games, Pokémon and anime. An avid reader, Ashleigh loved the works of JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Manga and all things fantasy.
Ashleigh loved to bake to create treats for others for their special days and occasions…she loved to watch cooking shows and was always learning something new to try. She was a consummate artist who loved to draw, paint, sculpt, take photographs and make various works of art. She had a wonderous and creative mind that wasn’t limited to a single hobby or medium and she would help spread the joy she could create to all who would accept it.
Ashleigh loved the outdoors and all things water…beaches, lakes, pools and was an advanced scuba diver. She loved the glaciers of Alaska to the beaches of Florida and all of the trails in between. She was a truly well-rounded individual who we could all look up to. She will be profoundly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
No public services are planned at this time, but there will be an online memorial posted soon.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family have setup a donation site for the family to help in their time of grieving. This was a truly unexpected tragedy and the family is struggling to meet the demands of the situation. If you feel compelled to help with meals or donations, please consider this in their time of need.
