Bertie Sills Lee

Bertie Sills Lee passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erwin, North Carolina in 1933 to the late William and Myrtle (Sanford) Sills.

Bertie is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Lee of Fayetteville and Gloria Schreiner of St. Johns, FL; her two sons, Mark Lee of Fayetteville and Donnel Lee of Maxton; her sister Joyce Ammons of Dunn; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bertie will be remembered as a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in Rogers & Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
