Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Bedus, 68, announce her passing on Monday, July 24,
2023 at her home in Lumberton, NC, surrounded by loving family. Carol was born in Brooklyn, NY on
June 17, 1955 to the late Charles and Elizabeth Dovale (Smith).

Carol is survived by daughters Catherine Church (children Christopher and Makenna), and Keri Cheney
(son Jayden); sons Joe Bedus and wife Erin, and JonBrian Green and wife Nicole; sisters Susan Martel
and husband Joe, and Barbara Betts and husband Bob; brothers Chuck Dovale and wife Laura, Rick
Dovale, and Patrick Dovale and wife Jessica. Carol is also survived by her nieces and nephews in Florida,
her dear family and friends in Long Island, and many other relatives and friends.
Carol will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held later in the year in Florida.
