Celia Lanier Dail

Kenansville, NC-  Celia Lanier Dail from Kenansville passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2021.  Celia was born April 10, 1933 in Duplin County to the late Roy Gibson and Nettie Shephard Lanier.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Golden Grove Cemetery in Kenansville, NC.

Celia leaves behind 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren all of Kenansville. The family includes daughters, Denise Dail Garner, Lynn Dail Davis and husband, Joe; sons, Paul Edward Dail, Jr and wife, Cindy, Henry Gibson Dail and wife Mary Sue; grandchildren, Elwood Garner and wife, Jill, John Dail Garner and wife, Lee Ann, Shannon Dail Bell and husband, Nick, Westley Dail and wife, Jamie, Paul Henry Dail, Jodie Elizabeth Dail, Ann Taylor Davis, Mary Proia Davis, Austin Brinkley; great grandchildren, George Garner, Gavin Garner, Laney Bell, Paul Halen Bell, Caroline Garner, Charlie Garner, Samantha Garner, Paul Bennett Dail.

In addition to her parents, Celia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Dail, son-in-law George E Garner, sister, Kathleen Wells, brothers, Robert Lanier, Gib Lanier, and Sam Lanier.
