Obituary

Charles Nelson Fann, 73 of Salemburg passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at UNC hospital surrounded by his family.

Charles was born on August 16, 1950, and he is a native of Sampson County. He was employed by Fann Farms.

Charles was the son of Paul Avery and Lilma Honeycutt Fann. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Paul Douglas "Doug" Fann and his sister in law, Virginia Fann.

He is survived by his siblings; Kenneth Fann of Salemburg, Sue Abercrombie and husband Charlie of Danville VA, Jarvis Fann and wife, Brenda of Gibsonville, and Keith Fann and wife, Sherry of Salemburg and several generations of Nieces and Nephews.

Charles was loved greatly by his family, and he will be missed. We draw comfort knowing he is present with the Lord. Honoring Charles' wishes there will only be a private graveside service.
