Charles Joas Obituary

Retired CSM, Charles Edward Joas, 67, of Vass, husband of Debra (Macchio) Joas passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. Charles was born on October 20, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his son, Mark E. Joas of Aberdeen, NC; his daughter, Lisa E. Joas of Hope Mills, NC; and his three grandchildren Alyssa, Mikayla, and Spencer; Three sisters; Anita Shover of Franklinville, NJ, Linda Lunsford of Star City, AK, and Judy Arcangeli of Newfield, NJ; Brother, Frank Joas, Jr. of Little Elm, TX; and aunts Barbara White of Turnersville, NJ and Gloria Grandizio of Franklinville, NJ.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Joas Sr. and Jean F. (Smith) Joas; and grandparents John and Wilda Smith.

A memorial service with a reception following will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 1PM in the All American Chapel at Fort Bragg, N.C.
