Clyde Junior Oxendine

Clyde Junior Oxendine, age 85, departed this life on September 18, 2024. Born in Pembroke, NC, on October 31, 1938, Clyde was the youngest child in a large family. His journey took him to Baltimore, MD, where he married his dear Carol. Together, they nurtured multiple generations of their own children and fostered many more after relocating to Delaware, ultimately returning to North Carolina to spend their later years surrounded by family.

Clyde led a rich and varied life; he was a boxer, contractor, pastor, and a devoted family man. His deep faith in God drove him to uplift others through ministry and scripture.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, siblings, his cherished daughter Linda and son Rocky, and the love of his life Carol. Clyde leaves behind his sons, daughters in law, daughters, and grandchildren: Donny and Kay Burton, David and Ann Marie Burton, Jude, Annabelle, and Nathan Burton all of North Carolina, Carol Ann Burton, Anthony Savino, Nicholas Savino, Cheyanne Savino all of Maryland as well as many other extended family members throughout Maryland and North Carolina.
