David Lamont Plater

David Lamont Plater, 50, passed away at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill NC on January 17, 2020.  He was born on September 16, 1969 in Baltimore MD to Mr. James Plater and Ms. Jessie Blunt.

David is survived by his parents, James Plater and Jessie Blunt; daughter Mia Plater of Pontresina,Switzerland; sisters Tara Stephens and Briana Plater; brothers Antonio Plater, John Stephens, Jimmy Plater, and Joshua Plater; aunties Patricia Carter and Barbara Dukes, numerous cousins, and a legion of family and friends around the globe.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on February 1, 2020 at 1:00 at the Chatman-Harris Funeral Home, 5240 Reistertown Road in Baltimore MD and is open to all family and friends.  Please send flowers and/or cards to Ms. Jessie Blunt c/o David Plater to the address obtained by emailing David's brother Antonio Plater at: amplater@hotmail.com.
