Elizabeth “Liz” Whittington passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

She was born February 4, 1942 to the late Floyd and Elvera McLendon in Mobile, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband George Whittington, her sister Peggy Mosley and her daughter Lisa Taylor.

Liz joined Homeowners Ltd. Real Estate Co. in 1977 and worked as a distinguished real estate agent until her retirement in 2008.

Liz leaves behind her daughter Darlene Yow of Fayetteville; stepsons, Danny Whittington of Winder, GA and Phil Whittington (Robin) of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Erin Boyette, Travis Yow, Angel and Daniel Taylor, Danielle Pritchett, Brooke Prather, and Phillip and Tracy Whittington. Additionally, Liz is survived by her sister Janie Morgan of Mobile, AL.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with close family and friends.
