Staff Sargent (Retired) Gary Michael Wadel, 70, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020. He was born March 17, 1950 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Wesley E. and Majorie (Dahl) Wadel.
Gary who was a Vietnam veteran, proudly served in the United States Army.
He leaves behind one son, Michael G. Wadel of Hope Mills, NC; one daughter, Heidi Rippl of of the home; one sister, Lori Goff of Beloit, WI and three grandsons, Alex, Sebastian, and Tyler.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gregory Wadel and his wife, Rosanna Wadel Caples.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
