James is survived by his daughter, Brandy M. America and fiancé, Jimmy L. White of Spring Lake, NC; son, James W. America, Jr. of Ohio; brother, Lawrence America of Linden, NC; sister, Sandra Shaffer of West Union, West VA and his six beloved grandchildren.
