John Charles Hackett IV

Mr. John Charles Hackett IV, 62, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. John was born in Gelnhausen, Germany to the late John and Gerda (Kohn) Hackett. He was preceded in death by one brother Jerry A. Hackett.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jennese N. Birritteri and husband Joseph of New Britain, CT and Leanna M. Violette of Tolland, CT; one brother James E. Hackett of OH; two sisters, Jacqueline Clemons of Leavenworth, KS and Jutta Phillips of Fayetteville, NC; 11 grandchildren Aidan, Cole, Jacob, Ethan, Henry, Joseph, Gianna, Sophia, Anthony, Angelina, and Santino and several nieces and nephews.

John will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend and he will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
