Joseph Alston Cain Jr. Obituary

Joseph Alston Cain Jr., 84, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born in Fayetteville, NC to the late Joseph Sr. and Lota (Creech) Cain.

Joseph was raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville Senior High School in 1956. He then graduated from Campbell University in 1964. Joseph spent two years in the US Army before retiring as Insurance Executive.

Joseph is survived by his son Joseph Lewis Womack and wife Allison of Pittsboro, NC; his two nephews, Al Pittman of Myrtle Beach, SC and Lee Pittman of Supply, NC; and his two grandchildren, James Alan Womack and Joseph Cameron Womack both of Pittsboro, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dorothy Pittman.

A private service will be held at a later date.
