Kathy Diane Mollett

Kathy Diane Mollett, 69, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 after an extended stay at Autumn Care of Fayetteville. Kathy was born in Fayetteville, NC to the late Charles and Jeanette Matthews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Paul Mollett; her daughter, Melisa Hammond; grandson, Dylan Hammond; and brother, Edward “Eddie” Matthews.

Kathy is survived by her sons, Eric Hammond and George Hammond; her sister, Glenda Hammond; her brother, Chris Hammond; her granddaughter, Alysha Hammond; and many other relatives and friends.

Kathy worked in the North Carolina School System as an educational aide and made a difference in the lives of many children. She touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service for Kathy and her husband, Felix Paul Mollett, will be held at Walstone Memorial Baptist Church, 260 Walstone Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311, on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Kathy’s memory.
