Larry David Murasky departed this life peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the age of 64. He was born on October 9, 1959 in Logan, West Virginia. Larry was the second child of the late Johnny, Sr. and Shirley (Bryant) Murasky.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Johnny, Sr.; mother, Shirley; sisters, Deborah and Rebecca; and brother, Johnny, Jr.
Larry is survived by his step-mother, Carolyn; sisters, Serena and Shawn; “Favorite” brother-in-law, Steve; nephew, Justin; nieces, Stevie, Amanda, Alysa, Briana, and Michaela; great-nephews, Kayden, Raoh, and Mathias; great-niece, Emeriee; Bruce and extended family.
Larry completed school and worked in Fayetteville. He enjoyed riding on boats, pier fishing, and going to the beach. He loved animals. His favorite past time was watching wrestling and attending live wrestling matches.
He never met a stranger and really enjoyed talking with people. He touched the hearts of many and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure to know him. Larry truly loved his nieces and nephews and cared for them as if they were his own children. Larry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
We are surely going to miss hearing him say, “Aww, itn’t that purdy.”
While there are no immediate plans for funeral or memorial services, the family will notify loved ones when a graveside service is scheduled at LaFayette Memorial Cemetery.
