Marie L. Coffin, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 25, 2017. She is survived by her son, Robert O. Coffin, Jr., of Fayetteville, NC, and daughter, Kathleen M. Raymer of Humble, TX; 2 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several relatives in New England.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, MSG Robert O. Coffin, Sr., Retired Special Forces, Fort Bragg, NC.
Marie retired from Civil Service with the Plans and Operations Fort Bragg, NC. She suffered most of her life from Rheumatoid arthritis and the last several years from Vascular Dementia and Parkinsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America, Alzheimer’s Association or the National Parkinson Foundation.
A Graveside Service will be Held in Arlington National Cemetery Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Everyone attending will need to meet at the Aministrative Building at 1:15 p.m.
