Mark Branch Obituary

 Mark Thomas Branch, 63, of Fayetteville, departed this earth on June 12, 2018 after a valiant battle with Sarcoidosis. 
   He is preceded in death by his father Horton Branch, his paternal grandmother Essie Branch and his maternal grandparents Myrtice and Bill Tharpe.
   He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Nancy Branch of the home, son Andrew Branch of Charlotte, daughter Laney Branch of Boone, mother Charlotte Yarborough of Fayetteville, sister Sally Branch Kadle of Hillsborough and husband Robert, sister Amy Branch of NYC and husband Kenneth Mason, brother-in-law Al Lovelace and wife Melanie of Williamsburg, brother-in-law Dan Lovelace and wife Lisa of Big Island, VA as well as nieces and nephews and many more family and friends whom he cherished. 
   Mark enjoyed a successful 20-year career as president of Continental Rent-a-Car. He served as a media consultant for print and advertising and was a retail automotive strategist. Mark was especially proud of his ability to always satisfy clients.
   Life loves and interests included tennis, sailing, gardening, golf and especially time spent with family and friends. 
   Legacies he leaves behind include serving others through: Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA, Fayetteville Symphony, Haymount Methodist Men and church related activities, as well as acts of service for environmental and humanitarian causes.
   The Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Haymount United Methodist Church, 1700 Fort Bragg Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303 officiated by Reverend Francis Daniel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 in the Commons Room. 
   In lieu of flowers the family requests that you consider donations to Haymount United Methodist Men (haymountumc.com/give) or ALS Clinic - Johns Hopkins Medicine (secure.jhu.edu\form\packals).
