Naomi Jean McInnis Pelt

Naomi Jean McInnis Pelt, 94, passed away on Sunday February 5, 2023. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Archie Cameron McInnis and Naomi Jackson McInnis, her loving husband James Pelt Jr., her infant daughters Edna Catherine Pelt and Patricia Diane Pelt, brothers John Cameron McInnis and Neil Gaston McInnis. Jean is survived by her children Teresa Jean Pelt Milliken, James Mark Pelt(Karen), Kevin Wayne Pelt(Delaine) and Keith Vincent Milliken, her siblings Edna Frances Austin, Don Richard McInnis(Rebecca), Linda McInnis Wood(Bobby), and Bill McInnis, sister-in-law Shirley Jeffers McInnis, her grandchildren Jennifer Jean Milliken Shore(Garrett). Nicole Delaine Cockey(William), Stephanie Renee Winter, Mallory Caitlin Pelt Di Salvo(Peter), Daniel Lee Smith, James Lael Pelt, Ingrid Melba Crabtree, her great grandchildren Christian Diego Shore, Finnegan James Cockey, Sasha Medora Delaine Cockey, Peter Anthoni Di Salvo Jr., she is also survived by many nieces and nephews and loving family and friends.

Jean was born and raised in the Carolinas. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and granny. She was caring and selfless. Jean was completely devoted to God, family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family singing songs and making music. Jean nurtured multiple generations of her family including her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. She has shaped who they all have become. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will truly be missed by everyone, especially her family.
