Patricia Whitehead Brown, 70, passed away on April 9, 2024. She was born on August 1, 1953 to the late Colon L. and Zudie Whitehead.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Willie M. Brown; and several brothers and sisters.
Patricia is survived by her children, Lois Brown, Marcie Naylor (Chris), Colon Brown, and Bradley Brown (Lara); bonus daughters, Connie Byrd and Deanna Little; brother, Clifton Whitehead; sisters, Joann Driscol, Lois Jones (Merrit) and Onnie Ford; grandchildren, Crystal Haire, Kimberly Brown, Brittney Hannah, Anna Brown, Matthew Brown, Colin Brown, Noah Brown, Dylan Brown, Bo Brown, Joe Byrd, Jr., Crystal Distel, Linda Jackson, Brandy Jackson, Curtis Jackson; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Lenny, Presley, and Alyssa.
Patricia was born in Robeson County, NC and was raised in Fayetteville, NC where she attended Rockfish Church of God. She had written and recorded a song titled “More Than a Dream”. She went on to write a second song but was not produced.
A Celebration of Life Service for Patricia will be held at Rockfish Church of God, 7869 Rockfish Road, Raeford, NC 28376 on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
