Richard "Ricky" James Goff, Jr.

"Rest in Peace Little Brother"

My brother, Richard James Goff, Jr., 58, passed away on March 21, 2017 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by our parents, Richard and Iris Goff. 

Ricky, is survived by many who will miss his sense of humor and quick wit. They include his sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Gene Furrell; as well as nephew and wife, Michael and Danielle Furrell; niece and husband, Page and Jeff Owens; along with their families.

Especially close to him was John Merinol and his mother who were a great support to him, both physically and spiritually. Some of the people he loved best were those he spent time with at his dialysis center on Avon St., He talked about the patients and the nurses often and shared his stories of their closeness- his extended family. Many will remember him for his love of NASCAR, the Tar Heels, Dallas Cowboys, automotives, and of course, hunting and fishing!

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the home of Gene and Sheila Furrell, 1712 Raeford Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28305.
