Rubye (Baker) Smith

Rubye Smith, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at her home surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Smith; father, Charles Baker; mother, Katie Sky; and sisters, Wanda Baker and Marilyn Heaton.

Rubye is survived by her sons, Michael Smith and Ron West; sisters, Leona Sutton and Robin Baker; several nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Rubye was a devoted wife and loving mother. A true friend to countless people and she will truly be missed.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 with Pastor Eddie Brookshire officiating.
