FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Shirley Temple Goins passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lisa Blackwell and husband, Rickey of the home; two sons, Mitchell H. Brewington of Concord, NC and Dennis J. Brewington of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Patricia Black of Fayetteville, NC and Mary Etta Myers of Fayetteville, NC; numerous grand and great grandchildren, Jessica, Derrick, Cheyenne, Crystal, Katrina, Conner, Clarissa, Aaron, David, Jackson, Carter, Audra, Scarlet, Eric and Brandon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Champ Goins and Mary Elvia; sisters, Frances Brewington, Thelma Pruitt, Cathy Campbell and Charlotte Paul; brothers, Glen Goins, Champ Watis Goins and Ace Goins.
A Celebration of Life Services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 2:30 PM located at Seminole Church officiating by Reverend Jerry Groves and Randy Brewington. The Wake will be one hour prior to service. The committal service will follow right after at Sandy Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the home of Jessica Blackwell, 2049 Wood Duck Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
