Teresa (Pruitt) Reed

Teresa Pruitt Reed, 64, passed away October 18, 2025, at Womack Army Medical Center, Ft. Bragg NC, with her family by her side. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Pruitt Jr.; and her mother, Mary Frances Easley Pruitt Belch. 

Teresa is survived by her husband, Donald Reed, of Fayetteville, NC; her daughters, Denise Hurd of Sayre, PA, Melinda Hoferer of Lexington, NC; her four grandchildren, Reed, Riley, Corey and Devin; along with her brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. 

Having touched the hearts of many, Teresa will be greatly missed. 

The family will be welcoming friends and guests at a viewing at 5PM October 22, 2025 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home in Fayetteville, NC. A small service will be held on October 25, 2025, at Hickory Grove United Methodist in Pelham, NC.
