William Joseph Case Jr.

William Joseph Case Jr., 66, passes away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at his home, in his sleep. Loving known as Joey, he was born in Goldsboro, NC on January 4, 1959.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Hattie Lee Cudd; his mother, Patricia Ann Gunther Hollyfield; his father, William Joseph Case Sr.; his stepfather, Jack Vernon Hollyfield; and his brother, Jessie “Butch” Case.

Joey is survived by his son, William Joseph Case III and daughter-in-law Kelli Louise Leslie Case; his grandsons, William Joseph Case IV and Marshall Jaxson Case; his brother, Anthony Case; and his aunt, Bobbie Diana McKinney; along with many other relatives and friends.

Joey meant well in everything he did for his family and friends. He loved his sons and grandsons more than anything else in this world. Now he will rest, and no longer have the worldly pains he was so desperately struggling with here on Earth. He can now walk with the Lord with no pain. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
