William(Bill) Whitehead Obituary

William F. Whitehead Jr, 68, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday January 25,2023. William was preceded in death by his father William F. Whitehead Sr and his stepfather Jim Renshaw. William is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Ruth Whitehead, his mother Susan McKeithan Whitehead Renshaw, his son William F. Whitehead III(Billy), his daughter-in-law Angela, his brothers Jimmy Whitehead, Gary Whitehead, sister Kimberly Whitehead Hammond and brother-in-law Jimmy Hammond.
William was a graduate of Seventy-First High School. He later went to UNC Pembroke where he joined the Pi Kappa Alpa ETA Omega Chapter. He coached youth baseball at Brentwood Booster club for over 10 years and worked at the Public Works Commission as a Fleet Maintenance Manager . William was loved by his family and all who met him, he will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Camp Ground United Methodist Church at 4625 Camp Ground Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314 on February 1, 2023 at 11:0 am
