Yvonne Stokes White

Yvonne S. White, 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, surrounded by her husband and daughter. Yvonne was born in Ayden, NC on October 16, 1938, to the late Alice Stokes.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Stokes, and stepson, Michael A. White.

Yvonne is survived by her husband of 54 years, William "Bill" White; daughter, Sandra Bramble, of Fayetteville, NC; step-son, Robert White and wife Rena of Salisbury, MD.; Daughter in Law, Bonnie White of Fruitland, MD; Granddaughter, Lauren Doyle and husband Patrick, of Aberdeen, NC; three grandsons, Michael, Andy and Joshua; and Four great grandchildren, Cody, Leah, Brett, and Tinsley.

Yvonne previously lived in Princess Anne, MD. She had a unique sense of humor and wit. She enjoyed working with her plants and flowers and the annual beach family vacation. She also served in numerous ministerial capacities at Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne, MD, and Village Baptist Church, Fayetteville, NC. She also enjoyed working with Operation Bandanas.

A memorial service will be held at Village Baptist Church on February 28, 2026, with the visitation starting at 11am, with the service to follow at 12pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Valley Hospice House, Fayetteville, NC, or Living Bread Worship Center, Salisbury MD.
